Creating

Positive Culture

About Julia

Rooted in lived experience.

Guided by values.
Dedicated to systems that work better — for everyone.

I’m Julia: a neurodivergent coach, educator, and facilitator with more than 20 years of experience helping people and systems move toward psychological safety, clarity, and relational resilience.

Complex Strengths

is the result of a lifelong commitment — to equity, to understanding difference, and to doing better by those who live at the edges of systems not built with us in mind.

My work is grounded in lived experience, deep listening, and a persistent curiosity about how we learn, relate, and grow. I’ve been the educator quietly challenging assumptions in a room, the parent advocating for autonomy and dignity, and the team member reshaping conversations about inclusion and support. Every role I’ve held has taught me how culture gets made — and how it can be transformed.

Our values in practice

Honour

I bring an unshakeable belief in the strengths and insights each person holds. Whether I’m working with a leader, a parent, or an entire team, my role is to honour your expertise and autonomy — not override it. I’ve lived through the consequences of systems that do the opposite. That’s why every training, coaching session, or consultation I lead is grounded in consent, collaboration, and a recognition of identity in all its forms.

Equip

My work bridges theory and practice — offering clear tools, adaptable frameworks, and tailored support drawn from trauma-informed approaches, neuroaffirming principles, and relational neuroscience. I design learning experiences that feel safe, stretch thinking, and empower people to act. You won’t get one-size-fits-all slides here — you’ll get grounded, actionable insight that respects your context.

Evolve Together

I don’t claim to have all the answers. I offer a space to ask better questions. Growth, for me, is always relational: it happens when we explore what’s possible together. Whether I’m working 1:1 or with entire organisations, I invite people into a process of reflection, experimentation, and change that’s adaptive, human, and real.

The result?

Greater psychological safety.
More meaningful, sustainable resilience.
And deeper understanding — across roles, identities, and systems.

If you’re ready to move beyond performative inclusion and into relational, responsive change — welcome. Whether you're here as a leader, a team member, or a partner in change, I look forward to walking alongside you.

You can also find my 1:1 coaching work at Co–Illuminated, which offers focused support for neurodivergent adults and parents navigating complexity and growth.
